Cody Talks About The 2012 Grammys!

Cody, who is awesome as you all know, watched the Grammy’s and as usual has a lot to say about it, both good and bad.

Being the upstanding positive person he is, he will discuss only the good things here in this post, to you, our friends.

We encourage your positive thoughts and feelings as well.

Cody, for those that don’t know, has many years experience in the music business.  He started his own band in Boston, MA when he was a 20 something and toured through out New England.  After having a son, he decided to change his tune a bit.  He moved on to writing and producing  jingles for company’s such as Shoppers Food Warehouse, Giant Food etc.    He then moved on to being a music teacher at a local (Northern VA) private school.  It was there he found his love of writing kids music!  He wrote and produced the school’s annual music show to the parents and kids delight!

When he met Bj he was still a single father of one son and Bj was a single mother with 4 kids!  They not only combined their family but they also decided to put their creative minds together and out came Cody & Bj Productions in 1992.  Cody writes all the amazing songs for the Cody & Bj and Kids Rock Productions and literally thousands of kids and adults have enjoyed Cody’s brand of pop-rock music.

There have been many musical influences in Cody’s life but certainly Jerry Garcia of The Grateful Dead, Paul McCartney of the Beatles and Brain Wilson of the original Beach Boys have been the strongest.  The song “When I Listen To You” tells the story of those strong influences.

Needless to say, Cody is a wealth of knowledge especially when it comes to bands like The Grateful Dead (he attended hundreds of their concerts when Jerry Garcia was alive, the original Beach Boys, the Beatles, Billy Joel and many, many more artists.

Ask him a question, I bet he can tell you a story!
