Cody & Bj have had a lot of pets to love through the years.

We have two beautiful German Shepherds, Emma & Harry.

We also have two Macaw Parrots, Roxie and Cheyenne.

Some of our pets have unfortunately passed on to the other side but we still love them very much.

We will always love and miss:

Sasser (short for Sasquatch) our Floppy-Eared Bunny,

Chelsea (aka Chelsea-Bear) our beautiful Chow/Keish Dog,

or Runway and Sunshine our two Cats.

Emma
& Harry
are both still puppies and still have a lot to learn.  They both have very different and distinct personalities of their own too.  For instance when they are inside playing with each other, Emma is obviously more outgoing and dominate.  However when they are outside and playing tug-of-war Harry is the dominate one.
Harry has also been known to get Emma into trouble by showing her how to dig holes in the backyard, then runs up to us and 'tells on her'.  Both have had a troubled past as we saved them through the Mid-Atlantic German Shepherd Rescue League.  They have, however, made a wonderful recovery and have quickly become a part of our family becoming truely loved and accepted by our Whole Family
.

Roxie is a fourteen years old Blue and Gold Macaw, and Cheyenne is a thirteen year old Green Wing Macaw.  We've taught them both how to say "Hello, Cracker, Good Bye, How Are Ya? and I Love You."  Sometimes you can hear them practicing, and when you bring them any kind of food they always will thank you with a "Cracker?".
You may recognize them  as they both used to perform at our shows with us.  However these days only Cheyenne has the 'acting bug'. We've had them both since they were babies.  Though they get along with some of the family better then others, they are loved by All.

*A Fun Fact about Macaw Parrots*
Parrots kept in captivity have been known to live for almost 90 years!

Chelsea (or Chelsea-Bear)
was our last dog before Harry & Emma she was a chow/kiesh mix breed and one of the friendliest dogs you'll ever meet.  We had her since she was a puppy and watched her grow into a loving caring part of our family.  She had a lot of hair and we often joked that she sometimes looked like a bear or a lion out in the wild. Chelsea was often accompaning us on family outings, whether it be to the store, Great Falls Park or just the playground around the corner.  She was always loved and cared for by everyone.  Towards the end she became a little less friendly to people outside the family and eventually we had to say goodnight to her, but while she was around she filled our lives with joy.

Sasser (or Sasquatch)

was one of our bunnies.  He liked to try and escape our backyard many times as all bunnies do so Cody ended up building him a shed he could live in.  After he passed we got another bunnie who looked so much like him we called him "Sasser 2".  Believe it our not sometimes Sasser  would even get to run around the house inside and boy was he hard to catch.  There were nights when the family would just let Sasser run loose all night because they couldn't find Him.  We knew he'd be ok down in the basement, and couldn't 'run away' so we just let him have his fun.  He was never starved for attention and was very loved in our family.
